On behalf of the orphans in our care, thank you for continuing this journey to rescue the most vulnerable children in Ethiopia! We believe Netsanet Children’s Village is a message to the world that no matter where you are born, God has an incredible and deep love for each of his children.

A man knocked on the gates of Netsanet the other day. He was lost and needed directions. He looked into the open gates of Netsanet and saw hundreds of clean, happy and well-cared for children playing.

“Who are all these children?” he asked. “I thought this beautiful house was for important people.” We just smiled and replied, “It is for important people, the lost, the lonely, and the unwanted … the most treasured in the kingdom of heaven.” He walked away confused. But the truth is, the story of our children is like the story of Christmas. Christ coming among us and showing us not to underestimate a small baby wrapped in swaddling clothes, because just may grow up to save the whole world.

Through the love of Christ, this past year, Netsanet has carded for over 190 orphans and abandoned babies with special needs, provided over 200,000 meals for homeless children, sent 150 children to school, opened an inclusive preschool, sponsored over 1,000 families and helped dozens of women escape human trafficking and find Jesus.

We believe connecting hearts from Jacksonville to Ethiopia can create a more peaceful, loving and inclusive world and bring glory to Almighty God.
